TOSCA Toolbox & User Personal Space (Orange Resource)

This Personal Data Notice aims to give you information on how Orange S.A., acting as Data Controller, processes your personal data when you visit or use our Tosca Platform.
Please note that this Notice may be supplemented by specific information relating to TOSCA Toolbox which is described in the relevant Terms of Use.

Why does Orange process your personal data and under what legal basis?

To access the Tosca Toolbox and create User’s Personal Space, Users are requested to provide proper identification of natural persons (name, first name, and email address) and employing legal entity. For the purposes of operating the Orange Resource, Orange processes your data in order to:

The processing is based on Orange’s legitimate interest as promoter of a platform for open and constantly improving research, which requires exchanges with Users.

Who has access to your personal data?

Personal data of the User may be accessed (and is processed) only by Orange and Inria.

How long do we retain your personal information?

Orange undertakes to keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which we process them, and in accordance with the regulations. Your personal data is processed as long as your user account is active. You can remove your Atom contribution on your personal initiative. In case you want to deactivate your account, please send a mail to tosca.toolbox@orange.com and your data will be removed at max 1 month from the deactivation date.

What are your rights and how you can exercise them?

In accordance with the regulations in force, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification of your personal data at any time. A right to object, a right to restriction of processing may also be exercised. In some cases, the portability of your data is possible.
To exercise your rights, you can email us by justifying your identity at group-dpo.donnees-personnelles@orange.com.
You are informed that you have the right to submit a request to the “Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés” (CNIL), the supervisory authority in charge of compliance with the obligations regarding personal data in France. We encourage you to contact us before any request, so that we try to solve it together.

Are personal data transferred outside the EU?

Personal data are stored in servers located in the EU, and are processed by Orange employees. Orange take all the appropriate guarantees to ensure the protection of your data and the compliance with the applicable personal data protection regulations.

How is your personal data secured?

Orange undertakes to protect your personal data in a secure and confidential way. In this respect, appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss, misuse, alteration and deletion of your personal data are implemented. These measures are tailored in line with the level of sensitivity of the data.
